行动中的多样性， a weeklong residency at the University of 雷德兰兹, is intended to introduce and engage various voices and perspectives across the University community, 及以后.
It serves as a tangible example of our commitment to providing a well-rounded, 个性化的, and hands-on education that focuses on scholarship through engagement.

This weeklong residency allows for the introduction of ideas, perspectives and experiences that will challenge some, 并激励他人, and is the result of extending an invitation to a nominated, and selected representative of 行动中的多样性.
Please read the guidelines below, and consider nominating someone (self-nominations are welcomed) to engage in our community on topics and in ways that meet the goals of this initiative:
- strengthen and expand our commitment to diversity, 股本, 和包容, on our campus and in our daily lives;
- introduce active and engaging role models to inspire us to overcome barriers, and value difference;
- help develop leadership skills and abilities that enable others to act;
- foster meaningful dialogue among the U of R community to influence the development of guidelines, 政策, 程序, 组织实践.

- Be available to join the U of R community, dedicating working time to the residency for approximately one week (final dates to be determined);
- Be willing and able to engage in hands-on, personal contact with the U of R community;
- Demonstrate a documented commitment to working for social change and justice.
Preference will be given to nominees who are able to engage in some of the following activities:

- Lead reading/discussion groups
- Teach and/or visit classrooms

- Screen films and lead discussions
- Assist in planning projects and campaigns of interest to the U of R community
